We are very happy to be able to tell you that we have a new Vicar  –  he is William Burke, and he and his wife Carol have joined us and moved into the vicarage in Great Tew at the end of May.

William was ordained in 1992, after 25 years of distinguished service in the army, where he reached senior rank. Since 2017 he has been a Rural Dean in West Norfolk, and for most of his time in ministry before that he was Rector for a group of rural parishes near Peterborough.  So William well understands the joys and sorrows of life in the countryside, and he is keen to get back to being a parish priest in a rural community.  We are sure that he will contribute greatly to our parishes, and we are much looking forward to welcoming him and Carol.
